A new story after a long time...this time for Suits. It's a oneshot and should probably take a look at this song. I love you- Two Steps from Hell. Have fun. :)
She walked out of the elevator, walking as fast as she could in her heels right into his office.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" she didn't await his answer. "I told you to stop with the calls and the visits!"
"I'm not stopping unless you come back." he glared at her for a second, than his attention was back at the papers on his desk.
"Harvey, I quit there is no way I am coming back. I have to live my life and this life doesn't include you. Do you understand?" she was furious this wasn`t a sick joke.
"I know you Donna you don't really want this…so stop lying to me!" he was standing now and with one hit on his desk, the papers were shattered across the floor.
"I'm not lying you don't need me anymore. You achieved your goals in business…and in personal life. And I have to build a life for myself." she fought back the tears.
"Is this about Scottie because if it is-" Donna interrupted him.
"No it's not about her. I just need a change…I'm sorry Harvey." she turned around and started to walk away.
"The truth Donna, I want the truth…now! Because I don't know what has gotten into you, after we solved the whole Mike-Louis problem you told me you have to quit without a reason." Harvey was scared, for the first time in his life he was scared like hell.
"The truth?! It's about me the first time in my life it's about me…about my heart. I need my own life and that is not possible when you are in it. Because if I stayed you would always be the sun in my universe and I could never be happy. I…I…I love you Harvey. And that is a big problem. You're with Scottie and even if you weren't with her it would risk our friendship." she couldn't take it anymore, she broke down and cried…oh no, she really cried in front of Harvey. She was Donna for god's sake.
Harvey's face turned softer, he could never stand it when she cried. He slowly walked towards her, she wanted to run away but her legs seemed to have other plans. She didn't move one bit.
Then he took her face in his hands and whipped the tears away. He looked her in the eyes with such intensity that she nearly forgot to breath.
"I love you too Donna. I always did and I always will and before you interrupt me again… I broke up with Scottie." He didn't hesitate for a moment and kissed her. Donna could feel the room spinning…little fireworks everywhere. When they broke apart they were both panting. And then Donna slaps him, she slaps hard. Open palm. Bitch slap.
"Ouch…what was that for?" he stared at her in horror.
"For making me say the three words." she was now grinning at him.
"Making you say what?" he asked with a smile on his face.
