Chapter 1- Sorry everyone
"After everything that's happened, I think I'm still into him…" CJ sighed in exasperation. Ever since the 'Margaret-Mordecai-Lovebot' incident, she's still positive that Mordecai is a possible boyfriend material and she loathed it. The fact that she hasn't gotten over the douche gets into her nerves. Just think about it, you're practically dating this certain guy then there, right before your eyes, the guy you are falling for is inviting another woman to the movies. How could she still have feelings for him? Why can't she just hate him? At least stop feeling anything cheesy towards the dude?
-Because her infatuation grew deeper. She loves him. That's all she can feel for him. She cannot bring herself to lose attraction for Mordecai and any explanation wouldn't be necessary at all because it is the way it is. She needs to see him, better yet, try winning him only to prove that she really tried.
CJ readied herself for today is the day that she will face Mordecai given that a month has already passed (although I assure you that a month is not sufficient enough to complete the healing process). Well, I didn't mention that she's okay already. The thing is, she wants to see him real bad. She needs to satisfy her craving for the hot dude. Yes, hot dude.
She picked up her car keys, took her favorite mix tape, and flopped herself to the driver's seat while fastening the seatbelt. The engines roared as she twisted the car keys to the ignition. After a couple of minutes, she hit the gas, driving her way to the park.
"CJ, you're a tough woman and you can do it. Don't let your pettiness get into you. Apologize to him, be good friends, be yourself."
I should be over all the butterflies, but I'm into you, I'm into you…
The chorus played. During that moment, she happened to pass by the coffee shop where Margaret is working. She pulled over and walked to the shop. All she wanted was to be cool with everybody so maybe, it wouldn't hurt to try apologizing to those she trespassed.
CJ waved a hand to Margaret and Eileen. But Margaret seemed to ignore her.
"Hey, uh, I'm sorry for the damage that I've done. I'm apologizing, especially, to you Margaret, for my distasteful actions during that afternoon. It's just that, the feeling of anger is much overwhelming that I lost control of myself. I admit that I got jealous and I know that I don't have the right to." She bit her lower lip for a second then continued with a murmuring voice, "not cool, I know. I made myself look like a total loser."
Margaret stared at her for a moment then finally came with a response. "It's okay now. Don't worry about it. Just don't bring it back; it reminds me of how-"
The waitress bit on her index finger's nail, she almost told the blond about her real feelings considering that they're not even close to each other. She nervously averted her eyes from the outgoing gal and continued to her work. It greatly confused CJ but when she realizes the time she bid the two good bye and drove straight to the park.
