One shot Draco and Hermione always had a soft corner for each other, the story unfolds the realization.
After finally completing her seventh year Hermione decided to rent a house in London until she is able to get her parent's memory back.
It was now that she realized the gap in her life without her parents. She had to live the life of an orphan with her parents living somewhere in Australia. Her life was aimless, she was still waiting for the reply from The Gringotts bank where she had applied for a job. Her timetable included eating and sleeping only apart from rarely spending a few hours with Ron who was extremely buddy these days with his auror training.
" Phew, home again out of groceries" thought Hermione holding the empty sugar pot, " time for another trip to the store!" she thought sadly. Thaws days she was greatly depressed, disinterested in the world.
After the shopping the feet of depressed Hermione started marching towards the central park, thinking it might help, she didn't resist.
Walking carelessly she suddenly banged into someone exactly of her height, this can be said as when they collided their lips met!
This stranger was none other than Draco Malfoy! The other second they were staring each other with their eyes locked without any movement standing just a centimeter away with their lips just millimeters apart, neither of them stepped away. This millimeter distance was reduced and they were found kissing each other passionately. It was few minutes later when it began raining that they split up.
" Oh, ummm, hi " Hermione managed to utter.
" Um, hi."
And both seemed to suffer a loss of words.
" What just happened!" Hermione muttered.
" I don't know, it was um... Humm..."
" It was an accident, but I enjoyed it" Hermione popped up who suddenly seemed to have come up with lots of energy.
" Me too" Draco replied blushing.
" Don't tell me you are blushing Draco ?"
" oust shut up! I am not"
" Yes you are" Hermione teased.
" yes, I admit , but it happens only at special times.
" hmmm.."
" Oh Gawd! It's raining"
" Oh yes, I just realized"
" Let's rush back"
" Bye will catch you later " Hermione hummed plotting a short peck on Draco's cheek and rushing away happily.
