Thanks you to all reviewers in advance! this is my first story as the only one on this account. i'm sorry to say, my sister made her own account. i'll put up the name at the beginning of the next chapter. this has to do with horses more than vampires, but, you'll see how they tie into each other. this is the prologue. i'll have the first chapter up ASAP. and here's the disclaimer!!
Wolf- No, no, no!! i won't say it!
Me- Yes you will.
Wolf- No!
Me- Fine, *pats cat* will you say it?
Cat- Freedom-6810489 does not own the Cirque Du Freak series. Darren Shan does. Freedom-6810489 does own the horses in this book and if any of you readers take them, i'll claw you a new ***- thank you.
Me- That last bit about clawing wasn't needed, but good job *gives treat*

Prologue
a small field spread across an acre. on it stood many horses. Four stood on a rise above all others. These horses were like leaders, one shire, one zebra, one arabian, and one falabella. throughout the field were horses like these, all in their own section. First to speak was the Shire, "Little Star, your numbers have doubled, why is this?"
Little Star, the falabella answered sourly, "All our numbers have doubled! Those sillly things take too much more than they need and they take part of the poor horse's soul! Don't you agree Lucky?"
The Zebra, Lucky had a sweet voice and answered, "I would have to agree Little Star, but that is no reason to get in a fight with Pint now. We've had enough death, we don't need fighting too."
Finally, the arabian spoke, "I agree lucky. Fighting would cause trouble with the lives ones." yet, his words came too late. For, Little Star and Pint had begun fighting. then, a scream echoed through the field. It was the fire-seer. The arabian ran to her.
"What is it?" he asked.
"Tell them the message," She screamed, "Hurry!"
Words flooded out of the four mouths,
"Sun of moon, Moon of Sun,
Save our old, Spare our young.
Help us away,
From this terrible way."
