I'm currently 'inactive' from writing and I've put 8Bit Dimension on hold, but I couldn't help getting inspired by one of After School's newest songs! I got the idea from the translated lyrics; the song is in Japanese, with the quote originally in English.
More people should write drabbles! It's just a short piece with exactly 100 words. I've done two pieces here.
Maybe these weren't very good, and I don't know much about Shawn and Natara (I've never played CoD before Volume 7), but still…

Actually, he was not a 'proper' and ideal boyfriend to have.
He never brought her on romantic dates when they had days off. He never always replied to her texts.
Of course, it was worse than that.
Instead of spending more time with her, he would do things that made her worry about 'us'. Then his self-centered ego never let him open up to her too.
Still, she was willing to do anything to feel the intoxicating "happiness" when he held her in her arms and kissed her on rare occasions.
She would wait for him to love her truly.

Look beyond his harsh exterior and you get a gentleman who could charm all the women around him if he wanted to.
Sure, he was crude sometimes, and his words almost always dripped with sarcasm, but she had already gotten used to it.
He never failed to captivate her heart. In all honesty, he was perfect for her.
The only problem was that he was waiting for her like she was waiting for him.
Speak up, coward! She thought bitterly.
