Saito Keiichi watched his lover Robert Fischer Jr. moan in his sleep with a pained expression. This had been going on for the six months they had been together and the sixth they had not.

Saito was worried, okay he was beyond worried, his lover was slowly deteriorating before his eyes. Saito was afraid that soon he would have a shadow for a lover, and he could not allow that, not when he was responsible for the shape his lover was in.

Saito was at the end of his rope, so it was with a heavy heart that he kissed Robert on the forehead before leaving their bedroom to make a call, it was time for his last resort, the option he had hoped not to have to turn to.

Saito glanced at the clock to see it glaring four thirty a.m. back at him, which meant it was four in the afternoon in America. Picking up the phone he dialed and waited as the phone rang.

"Hello, who is this?" Phillipa's sweet five-year-old voice asked.

Saito smiled, "I am a friend of your fathers, is he home?"

Phillipa sang out, "Daddy phone for you!"

There was giggling and then the sound of Dominic Cobb's voice, "Hello?"

"Hello, my friend" Saito began, "I need your help."

Cobb waited, "I will pay you whatever you ask but I need you, you and the others."

Cobb sighed, "you know I'm semi-retired, and you know I will not do inception again."

Saito smiled, "I am aware, what I need from you is neither of those things, I…Robert is sick."

Saito waited, knowing that Cobb was not comfortable with his choice of lover because of their dubious first connection.

"What's wrong?" Cobb asked, bonds thicker than blood binding them all.

"Robert is dying because of us, because of me, I need it fixed, I want my lover happy again." Saito prepared himself before saying what needed to be said.

"You can perform extraction, you can perform inception, I need you to do the impossible again for me Cobb."

"The impossible, what are you talking about exactly?" Cobb sounded confused and Saito sighed.

"You can steal information, you can plant ideas, what I need for you to do id erase a memory or rather to suppress a memory." Saito waited silence his only companion before Cobb exploded.

"That is impossible, it can't be done." Saito smiled without humor.

"Why not? The opposite of Inception is not extraction; it is abolition, the ability to erase memories."

Saito took a moment, trying to stay calm, knowing that Robert's welfare depended on Cobb saying yes, he could trust no other person, no other team with this most important task.

"If inception is to create, extraction to steal, then abolition is to erase, and that is what I need done." Saito sighed, "Think about it at least and if you agree meet me in Washington D.C. in one weeks time."

With that Saito hung up, and went back to bed, Robert was still; sweat making him almost glow in the moonlight.

Saito felt the lump in his throat and willed himself not to cry, he would not lose him, and one way or another he was going to heal his lover.
