MINE

Prologue

Splash as the body hit through the water. Clothes quickly clings onto his skins. Darkness greeted his world was all he can see. Loud waters splashing back and forth against his ears. He accepted his death. That's all he can do. 'I'll leave it to you…Itachi.'

"I don't think so, boy."

The pain was so unbearable that he couldn't describe it. He doesn't understand what just happened, first, it was endlessly feelings and now all of the sudden he can feel was the unspeakable pain. He couldn't scream in agony and he couldn't do anything about the pain.

"How about a chance?"

A chance? A chance to get away from this pain would be great for him. But what chance?

"A chance to make things right. A chance for someone you are meant to help."

Maybe. But he doesn't know if he wants that. He is tired of all the war and secrets in Clans and everything.

"You will be different."

Different? He would like that. Be different. Maybe if he were different, maybe he wouldn't have to worry about the Clan?

"If that's what you want."

Yes, that is what he wants. But does he want to help someone who is supposed to be great?

"Only by your choice."

Hmm, he can work with that. His own free choice to find someone who can be greater, who have potential, and skills to change Konoha's heart?

"What would it be, boy?"

He accepted.

"Very well."

His eyes snapped open. He sat up quickly and the first thing he sees is the old scrawny lady walked out of the shadow into the blood moonlight from the window. The lady has tangled messy black waist-length hair, grey stormy eyes, wrinkles, and crooked nose. She wears terribly ragged brown robes, long fingernails with a hint of dirt, dried yellow-color, and dried blood. She grinned wide her yellow crooked teeth as she tilted her head, "You have a very fascinating heart." She cackled excitedly. He narrowed his eyes at the lady in cautioned as she noticed that as well.

"Oh no, don't give me that look. I was the one who gave you a chance to live boy." She said in a strict tone.

"What?" the boy thought out loud in disbelief.

"Haven't you notice it?" the witch pointed at her eyes and the boy understood. He can see again. But how?

"How?"

The witch grinned, "That's only because it's part of the spell boy." She waved her hand as the mirror popped in front of him, "Do you like your new look?" she asked in sickly sweetly.

He carefully examined his new look. Black fur, two onyx eyes, grey nose, and white whiskers. He's a cat.

"Beautiful, yes?" the witch smirks. "The best part about this spell is that you have nine lives, you can talk in Human language, and you have your own eyes. Keep in mind, boy… those eyes are very precious and lots of prices to pay." The witch sigh, "It nearly cost me a fortune but it was worth it."

She narrowed her eyes at him, "You need to learn some valuable lessons and along the way, maybe you'll gain something in your life." she giggled excitedly, "You can't change back into human easily. The old spell is very different. An only certain person has to break your curse when the time is right my little kitty." The witch waved her hand at the door as the door shifted open itself, "Your mission is to find this certain person to break your curse. This person has to have outsider blood and well… the rest is up to you. Have fun kitty!" the witch cackled. "If you fail… well, your heart is mine!" she laughed loudly as she clapped her hands happily. He ran off through the door to escaped far away from the insane witch as possible.

'That witch is a wacko.' He thought in creeped out.

He couldn't believe it, he's alive again except only as a cat. Who would've thought that Uchiha, Shisui gets to have another chance to live? No one has ever seen that coming.
