Ryou stared out the window. Children where playing on the street. School was out.

He was writing a poem for English. Pen in his hand. Words were spelled out.

Pen and paper.

Black as the night on the pure white paper.

The children went inside when thunder roared in the distance.

He thought of his dark, choked on a sob, silent tears fell on the paper, blurring the black words. Reading...

Distant

You took your anger out on me

Why couldn't you just leave me be

The day you crushed my soul

I knew you hadn't been worth my trust

That's what hurt me most,

Of all

They just fall

All those silent tears I cry

Never seen by human eye

The wound has healed

But the scar still hurts

I can't let anyone come so close anymore

People pass by, my soul is sore

I want to give my trust again

But I never know

If they'll be worth it.

Distant…

Ryou sighted, grabbed a tissue sniffling. Reading the words over and over again, realising the truth of them. Why had he left him like that? No note, no phone call. Only the angry words had left with him. He missed them. Now he was al alone, no one to help him when he was in trouble, no one to comfort him when he cried. No one to play games with, to talk to, to cook for, no one to argue with. A tear made its way on his cheek. He missed him…in every way possible.

He knew had to meet new people, it was too difficult to let them in. He had just one chance, to wait for his darks return.

A/N: Could somebody pass the tissues please…

AHum. I'm alright… I hope the poem is not too bad. I suck at English especially the grammar and vocabulary. Are you wondering why I wrote this? Let's just say I wanted to give it a try. Please REVIEW, I would like to know you opinion on this.
