Chapter 1
Fear swept over the Hidden Leaf Village as the Nine-Tails seemed to appear out of nowhere. Civilians panicked and fled the scene while the shinobi tried to hold it back to no avail. Their attacks seemed to be useless against the Nine-Tails but, they couldn't give up, for giving up would result in the demolition of their home. As the battle waged on, an old shinobi entered the battle field. This is Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage.
"Keep pressing forward. Don't let it further into the village," the aging Hokage shouted as he flashed through hand seals.
"Summoning Jutsu: Monkey King Enma," Hiruzen called out, slamming his hand on the roof top which he stood.
"Why isn't the Nine-Tails sealed away, Hiruzen?" Enma questioned as the smoke around him started to dissipate.
"I'm not sure. There must have been something wrong with the seal. We don't have time to converse. Right now I need you to push the Nine-Tails out of the village," Sarutobi replied. Without a word, Enma transformed into a staff as hard as a diamond and extended just as the old Fire Shadow grabbed him. Once the beast was outside of village walls, Hiruzen ordered all shinobi jounin and above to hold it off until the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, arrived. After about twenty or so minutes of attacking, the Nine-Tails faced the Hokage Monument and fired a Tailed Beast Bomb. The attack destroyed everything in its path before it was stopped by an invisible barrier and then teleported away. On top of the Hokage Monument stood a man that had blond, spiky hair with two jaw-length bangs hangin down on either side of his face. This man is none other than the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze.
Unbeknownst to Minato, a man appeared behind him trying to warp him into a vortex. Due to his heightened senses, the Fourth Hokage was able to detect the danger and flashed away before the unknown man could suck him inside the vortex.
"A Space-Time barrier jutsu? That must be Lord Fourth," a man with light blond hair exclaimed as the last of the civilians were evacuated from the area. The Nine-Tails continued its attack, injuring and killing the shinobi that got in its way. As the battle raged on, the shinobi started to realize they couldn't hold it off much longer.
"Lord Third, we can't hold off the Nine-Tails much longer. We need a new plan," a jounin questioned as the beast charged another Tailed Beast Bomb. As the Nine-Tails was about to launch its attack, a giant toad landed on top of the beast. Before anyone could react, the Nine-Tails disappeared.
With Minato and his wife
A large claw shot forward, intent on killing the newborn baby that will become his new container. Minato and his wife, Kushina Uzumaki, dashed in front of the claw stopping it by using their bodies as shields.
"As his fsther, dying for him is my duty," Minato said weakly as his body slumped against his wife.
"It's mine as well since I'm his mother. This is the first time I've lost an argument. I guess this shows how serious you are about this," the red haired woman replied. Smiling, the Fourth Hokage summoned a scroll toad which he used to write the sealing formulas key.
"Kushina, I'm going to start the Eight Sign Seal. Give him your last message before our lives diminish," the blond male said.
"Naruto, don't be a picky eater. Make sure you eat enough to grow big and to bathe everyday and to stay warm. Also, try to make some friends, you don't need a lot just a handful that you can really trust. You're going to experience a lot of pain and suffering but, remember to never give up and always follow your heart, wherever it may take you. I'm sorry Minato, I used up all your time," Kushina weakly stated.
"It's fine, you said what I was going to say. Eight Sign Seal," the Fourth Hokage muttered, successfully sealing the Nine-Tails into his son before he and his wife passed away.
