Hey!

I just thought I could make a quick angsty one-shot. Got bored, so...yeah.

Enjoy!

Betrayal.

That was the only word swimming throughout Kurt Hummel's mind as he backed into the staircase railing on the house's second floor, the image of his boyfriend struggling to get into his clothes hazy due to the tears pooling in his glasz eyes. The picnic basket he had packed for their anniversary night picnic forgotten at the bottom of his feet, its contents displayed all over the ground.

Kurt was trembling, his heart aching and threatening to collapse. He hears its beating pound like a drum in his ears, his body pulsating along with it.

This isn't happening. This can't be happening.

It's a nightmare; a horrid nightmare.

It's not real.

Kurt thought he could hear distant calling of his name, but he couldn't be sure. He was too busy trying to get his breathing under control.

"K….rt…"

One, two, three…

"…urt…"

Deep breaths.

"Kurt…"

No short breaths.

"Kurt!"

Or you're screwed.

"KURT!"

Kurt's world spun and suddenly he was in the middle of a pool of broken glass and lemonade, looking up in to the eyes of the boy he loved so much.

The eyes of the boy who he trusted.

Had trusted.

"Kurt! Sebastian, please. Call an ambulance!"

Kurt watched dizzily as a tall figure crouched beside his betrayer vanish from his sight. He felt a pair of familiar, warm hands grip his shoulders and tilt him a little towards the right.

He didn't like turning. It made his head spin; it made his vision blur.

"Don't…"

He was stopped and he then felt eyes bore into him, but he didn't dare meet them. It would hurt too much. Just thinking about it made him nauseas.

Take deep breaths.

"Sebastian! Hurry the hell up!

"I'm trying, jerkass!"

It's too loud.

"SEBASTIAN!"

"SHUT THE HELL UP!"

Stop shouting.

"SMYTHE!"

"I'M TRYING HERE! YOU GET OFF YOUR ASS AND DO SOMETHING YOURSELF! I CAN'T CONTROL CELL PHONE RECEPTION!"

I said to stop!

"THIS HOUSE HAS RECEPTION!"

"THEN YOU MAKE THE GOD DAMN CALL!"

I can't take this!

Kurt's head throbbed painfully and he let out a yell of pain. Both of the males involved in the affair paused and looked at him, fear evident in their body language.

"K…rt?"

Their voices are fading again…

"D…n't…qu…t…Se…b…as…an…! Ke…p…ca...l…ng!"

Why is everything so quiet?

"…rt!"

Silence.

Why is everything so dark?
