The warm fire was blazing in front of me. I could feel the occasional bursts of heat leap up and hit him on his muscular body. Every minute of every day I think of her.

How I hate immortality! I had to watch his chosen get old and weary. She had died in the heat of a battle so large that it could have conquered the whole world, if Xena wasn't there to stand against it. All the Amazons lined up, the knights from Britannia and all the legions from Rome stood up to this army. Their commander, Xena and her pesky little friend led the troops into the battle which would go into history books as one of the bloodiest battles that the Roman Empire would ever see. Xena became old during the years and misplaced a move on her sword; and I rushed to her side…

" Xena…" I said as I thought of my loved one. She had not only conquered the world as the Destroyer of nations, but she had conquered my heart. I got up from my throne, and wandered about, searching for answers that my mind asked me.

If only I had told her about our bond. If only she knew about the symbol of eternity which is upon our hands. I thought as he traced the marking on the palm of my hand. It was a simple sign. It had her chakram with my famous, or infamous, pendant inside of it.

I sighed at remembering all the things that we had been through together. It was hard for me to get his feeling straight when she was alive, but now as she's departed, they were all clear to me now. There was nothing left for me to do now. I could mourn, I could cry, or I could find the last of Hinds Blood dagger…
