She was his fallen hero, the one thing that gave him balance in the crazy world the lived in, but what existence did he have now she was gone, never to return to his arms. Never would he be able to feel her touch, to feel her soft skin beneath him, unable to reach out to her when he needed her the most, losing the comfort that came with.

It grew harder and harder each day but with the little lessons she had taught him along the way it made it easier to get through everything, her calming voice in his head pulling him through every minute of the day, when night came he sought refuge in his dreams, dreams filled with her, dreams that would never be.

The dreams that would get him through the next day to come, but for now at least, the little comfort of seeing her bought him happiness. To see her smile, to hear her laugh, and to feel her warmth was everything he wanted, everything he dreamed of, and the only thing he could dream of.

To lose the one you love, to watch them die and to feel and hear their last breaths is worse than never getting the chance to meet them, you would rather to die yourself than to watch the one you love die, to know you are alone.

Is it times like this when you give up everything, that you knew and wanted? How do you go on when you have nothing to live for? When the one thing that gave your life meaning is gone?

Nobody could ever replace her, she was one of a kind, and she was his to love for all eternity, she would live on in the people she touched, an would never cease to be, she would be looking over him and everyone she loved, keeping them safe from dangers that came there way, dangers that had taken her from him. Danger that would never harm him, that would never cause him pain again. Never would he lose another person he loved, his family would be safe, and it would be thanks to her.

With Sam in his heart.

His angel in the sky.

Looking over him for all eternity.

Your tear in my eye.
