One
She loves the way he laughs.
It's not that it's a particularly harmonious laugh. It doesn't sound like bells or a rushing stream or anything sappy and sentimental like that.
It's a normal, ordinary laugh, but she likes it simply because it belongs to him.
And when he throws back his head, eyes sparkling, chest heaving, and she knows that it is because of something she said, well, that's just the best feeling in the world.
Two
He's such a Seaweed Brain.
It's not that he's stupid or anything, because he isn't. But sometimes he'll say or do something so ridiculously air-headed that she has to laugh.
And then he smiles that cocky smile.
Or, even better, he shrugs innocently and asks her why she's laughing.
Three
He smells like the sea.
It makes sense because he's the son of Poseidon, but that doesn't make it any less special.
Most boys are smelly, and of course he does smell a bit after he's been training. But unlike other boys it is tinged with the fragrance of a sea breeze.
She doesn't notice when he's gone, but as soon as she's with him she realizes that when she's around him is the only time she can breath.
Four
He worships her.
It's quite adorable, actually. Whenever she walks into the room he gets that troublemaker grin and his eyes light up like she's this angel come from above to deliver him to heaven.
He doesn't care what she's wearing. He doesn't like it when she wears makeup because he says it masks her beauty. He doesn't notice if her hair is brushed or not until he runs his fingers through it, and even then sometime's he doesn't realize.
It makes her feel special because 'special' is the only way he sees her.
Five
He is flawed.
Perfection is boring, in her opinion, and that he is not perfect in reality just reminds her that he is perfect enough for her and that's all that matters.
He's not particularly tall or well-built. He isn't the classical epitome of handsomeness, and he doesn't get perfect grades at school. He gets in trouble a lot, and he sometimes makes mistakes.
That just makes him more beautiful to her, though, because it shows that he is human. She doesn't want a model boyfriend. She just wants him.
And when he brings her a present two days before her birthday and then proceeds to forget on the actual date, she just wants to kiss him. When he makes a huge mess of his pizza right in front of her, she wants to throw her arms around him and inhale his scent. When he sits on her bed and sends her blueprints tumbling to the floor, she has to smile.
He's just so clueless.
He is flawed, and that is why he is perfect.
He loves her to the end of the world, and she feels the same.
