Nick lay across several seats on the helicopter. He winced as the helicopter slowed down and landed. Two soldiers entered the back and helped him up, he was alone. They helped him to a tent, he went unconscious. A few hours later he awoke to find two doctors over him. "Sir," one said, "what happened to your friends?"
"They're gone now." He muttered. He looked around, he noticed two men of similar height standing next to the bed of a young girl. He waved one of the doctors over "What's up with those three?"
"Those two are the Clancy brother, that is their friend she got a deep cut on their last supply run, and it's infected." He stated "they probably need more than three people for the next run." So nick waited. Several months passed and Nick grew impatient. His broken ribs slowly healed, as the girl slowly recovered from infection. Nick finally got to meet the Clancy brothers. Their names were Murphy and Brennan. They instantly took a liking to Nick, he lived in a similar situation as them. Murphy had short hair and a soul patch, but Brennan always wore a beanie, dark aviator sunglasses, and a skull bandanna, tied around his face. They were born and raised in Boston. They moved to riverside when they were twenty five. Then the infection hit and they escaped from evacuation point Echo to New Orleans. Nick got up one morning to find the Clancy brothers and the young woman standing over his cot.
"It's time to go have some fun," said Murphy.
"We need to find some food in an army surplus store and there is an abandoned military complex nearby, so we'll also be looking for ammo and guns." Brennan Stated in his soft raspy voice.
"So, suit up Nick." Said the young woman, she chuckled "pun not intended."
Nick raised an eyebrow looking over his white suit. He noticed that the brothers were wearing leather trench coats and breastplates. And the girl was wearing a dirty red sweatshirt and a black vest. Nick looked around and took a light military jacket and replaced his suit coat with it. "I'll find something better along the way.
They walked up to a large iron fence, and a soldier walked up with a box with wheels. He flipped up the top and reviled it was filled with guns. The girl grabbed a sniper rifle and a magnum handgun. Murphy grabbed a combat rifle and two pistols. Brennan picked up an AK-47 and two pistols. Nick grabbed a grenade launcher, he saw an axe nearby and picked it up.
