Why?
Why did you leave me,
Alone in this cold world?
Why must I face all of these dangers,
Without you by my side?
Why did you not say good-bye?
Why aren't you every coming back?
Why must things be this way?
Why did you separate yourself from those that you love?
I don't know all the answers to my questions.
I don't know the Lord's intentions.
I am not sure of my footing,
At the moment.
You were our glue.
We were the rocks.
You held us together and made our family a wall.
But now we are just 'sticky rocks'
We will recover slowly from your passing,
As hard as it may be.
We will stumble but not fall.
We will be tough, for you Dad.
