A/N: Surprised? Two days in a row? Yess! :D Thank you so much for the reviews and favourites for 'Her Father's Warmth'. It helps me get into the writing spirit. So please, enjoy!

"Let's bake daddy a cake!" Amalia exclaimed.

Ziva bit her lip. Making a cake with her five year old daughter would be messy. Very messy. But, it was Tony's birthday, and if they didn't make the cake then, he would wake up and have no surprise cake.

Ziva smiled, "Sure. Let's get you an apron."

"Yay!" the girl cheered, "Ima? What's an apron?"

She laughed. This was going to be a long process.

After 'Lia had put on an over-sized, blue apron, her mother helped her up onto a kitchen stool. She couldn't stop grinning, she was that excited. Baking, in her eyes, was rather fascinating.

"Don't forget the chocolate chicks!" she reminded her mother as she took out the necessary ingredients from the cupboards.

"Chocolate chicks?"

Amalia nodded vigorously, "Like what's inside cookies."

Ziva stifled her chuckle as she started to understand what she meant.

'And I thought that I was bad at English,' Ziva thought as she smiled at her daughter.

She frowned, "I didn't know that people put chocolate chips in cake!"

"Uh-huh!" Amalia's mouth mirrored her mother's previous pout.

She was as stubborn as her mother.

"Whatever you say, my little baker."

So, a packet of chocolate chips was placed on the counter, next to the flour and other supplies.

Together, they poured ingredients into a big, plastic bowl and Ziva gave the apron-clad girl a spoon to mix it.

Big mistake.

One-third of it spilled onto the floor and Amalia burst into tears.

"Don't cry over spilled juice, love," Ziva said, cleaning up the chocolaty mess, "It's not the end of the world, okay?"

Amalia sniffled, "Ok."

Ziva smiled, "Good. We had too much batter anyway."

She had a feeling that her mother was not telling the truth, but she didn't care; as long as Ima wasn't upset, she was all right.

"Wow, pwitty!" Amalia's eyes reflected pure happiness as she stared at the cooling chocolate, chocolate chip cake on the counter in front of her.

"It will look prettier when we ice it," her mother commented, "Want to help me?"

She could not turn that offer down.

They set to work covering the cake in chocolate icing (Ziva doing most of the work). Lia suggested putting some more 'chocolate chicks' on top and her mother agreed, surprised that they had more left, after her daughter had sneakily stuffed her face with the contents of the bag during her first official baking experience.

"Done!" Amalia shouted and they high-fived each other.

"Shhh. Your father is-"

"Awake! Celebrating without me?"

The two females of the house turned to look at Tony standing in the doorway.

"Daddy!"

He lifted her onto his hip and gave his wife a kiss on the cheek in the process.

"Happy Birthday, Tony," Ziva said, returning the favour.

"Happy Burtday, Daddyyyy!" she dropped one sloppy kiss to her father's cheek, "We made you a cake!"

"Thank you, my loves," Tony said, his face showing surprise, "Can I see it?"

Ziva stepped aside, revealing their beautiful, baked creation.

Tony gasped, "Wow. It's beautiful. Thank you both."

Amalia giggled. He really did appreciate it, and he was grateful that he would be able to spend the rest of the day with his family, making him the happiest man alive.

A/N: How'd you like that fluff? haha.
