a/n: about eight years ago i joined a fansite for starr and cole of one life to live. i was a young, immature but imaginative young girl who enjoyed way too much drama. i was a little stupid and was one of those girls that lied behind a laptop screen but despite all that - i made some of the greatest online friends and wrote a series based around the fab four and my special original character: evelyn masters. it was a huge hit and i really got to develop creatively. now, all these years later i'm going to revamp, reconstruct, and re-write this entire series with some new and old ideas. so if you recognize it from that beautiful little slice of the internet: welcome back, i've missed you. if not, then please enjoy what it's becoming!
"are you sure you want to do this?" cole whispered in his lover's ear as his fingertips grazed gently over her bare arm.
she smiled up at him; inside her stomachs was a raging storm but her expression was calm. nodding her head turned slightly to the right and their lips connected. losing her virginity to cole thornhart was something she'd dreamt of since the beginning of their star-crossed love affair. and in this night, is was finally going to happen.
starr bit her lip before replying, "i'm sure."
"are you sure you want to do this?"
it was too late for her now, she couldn't turn back. even if she wanted to say no there would be no point. there was no choice.
a sigh escaped her lips, they still burned from she and carson's final embrace. running her trembling hands through her black, silky locks she looked into the eyes that looked so much like hers. she'd miss her moth. "i'm sure."
their bodies were intertwined and the temperature in their souls were rising. with each passionate kiss they lost themselves further into their intimate bliss. after everything they'd gone through to keep their love alive, they were lighting a fire that would never extinguish. and in the end they rested in each other's arms, gasping for the breath they'd lost, enjoying each other's silent company. "i love you" echoed through the room without a single word spoken.
they just knew.
thankfully, they shared one final kiss before everything came crashing down. there in the doorway stood todd with a look of anger burning in his eyes. starr begged her father to show some mercy, some understanding, but in a fit of rage he unleashed his fury beating cole into a bloody mess. and all starr could do was sit, naked, barely covered by blankets shaking with fear.
evelyn's hand refused to stop shaking. as the bus tore down the highway from new york city to llanview, pennsylvania she tried to calm her nerves. it wasn't everyday a sixteen year old girl traveled so far from home with no idea what was waiting for her. she gazed out the window, watching the passing headlights and the droplets of rain racing each other occupying her mind with anything she could other than the unknown.
her phone rang jolting her from thoughts she barely remembered. the caller id read travis and a shiver ran up and down her spine. she couldn't bare to speak to him, not now, never again. he wasn't the reason she was leaving new york but he might as well be. ignoring the vibration coming from her cell she tried once again to ignore everything around her. squeezing her eyes closed she took in a deep breath.
her mother's words pierced her ears again, "are you sure you want to do this?"
a single tear fell but it wasn't of sadness.
"yes."
