"This beautiful rose?" asked Prince Blueblood ''Yes." said Rarity in a bit dreamy tone. "Well, this beautiful rose was meant to be with you Rarity." said Prince Blueblood as he levitated the rose with his magic and placed it in her mane.
"OMC! He just gave me a rose!" thought Rarity as Prince Blueblood escorted her to the ballroom.
They walked together on the shiny dance floor, suddenly Prince Blueblood did thrust his hoof in front of her as he said "Rarity, stop you will get your gown wet!" ''Oh Prince Blueblood! How chivalrous.'' said Rarity as Blueblood took off his coat and put it on the puddle for her to walk on it. As she walking on it he used that as an opportunity to get a good look of her flank.
Then after a little tango they went into the garden again, to have some fresh air.
"Two apple fritters please.'' said Rarity.
''Two apple fritters comin' raht up.'' Applejack said joyfully.
''That'll will be four bits.'' said AJ. "Cheap." Prince Blueblood mumbled giving her four bits. Luckily she didn't hear him.
As they ate the apple fritter Prince Blueblood asked AJ "Is apple fritter common food?'' ''Uh, yes?" Applejack replied "lt's spectacular! I really don't know what Celestia was thinking when she said common food is rubbish. Don't tell her I said that." Blueblood declared.
Then they walked back to the ballroom. As they walked in the castle Prince Blueblood started a conversation ''I told you a lot about myself but you didn't tell me anything about yourself Rarity.''

Blueblood froze for a second, but then asked ''Is Fluttershy the crazy pony in the garden?"
Before Rarity could respond Prince BlueBlood pulled her aside quickly before the cake could land on her.

''That was the best night ever!" said Rarity. "l met the prince, he proposed to me and l said yes! And he is such gentlecolt!" "Well, we all feel happy for you Princess Rarity." said Pinkie Pie. "You are so lucky to have the best night ever, cause we had..." said Twilight Sparkle "THE WORST NIGHT EVER! " completed Rainbow dash. "Although his actions felt a little..." Rarity started to say but trailed off, not wanting to worry her friends especially Fluttershy.
"Although his actions felt a little emotionless and hollow." Rarity said to herself.
At Twilight's library...
"What's up with you Spike? You haven't talked at all." asked Twilight. Spike sadly said "Have you forgotten about my crush on Rarity? now l'll never be able to be with her."
"Oh Spike, aren't you at least a tiny bit happy for Rarity?''
" NO. Sorry Twi, but I'm NOT happy."
"Oh Spike." sighed Twilight as he went upstairs.
