Disclaimer: I don't own Star Wars. I only own Atan and Dodge.
His name was Dodge. He wasn't like the others. He was bred to be a war machine, the perfect solider. He had been created to follow orders without question. So why didn't he always follow them without question? He was always different even from the start. He always smarter, or quicker, or more independent. At times he wondered why he was like this. Weren't all clones supposed to be the same? This question would be the one to haunt him for years to come.
Her name was Atan. She was a peculiar Jedi. She never quite agreed with the ideals and traditions of the Jedi. She could never quite understand the idea of suppressing one's emotions. She found the idea feeling nothing to be abnormal and unnatural. The Jedi always told her to be calm and serene in all things, to never the dangers of emotions and connections cloud her mind. How could loving someone else be a path to the Dark Side? Was she simply supposed to forget all those she cared for? This question would haunt her for years to come.
They both crossed paths by chance. He would be one of the new clone rookies in the 611th and she would be the Jedi General. He would feel empty in a sea of identical faces. She would doubt her commanding skills. He would come to doubt the things he was taught. She would come to doubt the teachings of the Jedi. But that would all come in time. Currently all they had to do was survive a war, and each other.
A/N: Hola people. This story will serve as a sort of prequel to my story Imbalance. The formatting is similar to Imbalance and both stories will be updated at around the same time. While Imbalance deals with the people Dodge and Atan are very late in the Clone Wars, Scars deals with how they grow to become those people. Anyways read and review. Thx.
