Bubbles sat down on her baby blue stripped bed trying to whipe of stray tears. Earlier, she and Buttercup had a bit of a falling out and Buttercup blew up on her. Bubbles was used to her yelling out things like "Why are you so weak?!" and "Your just so useless!" but she had said something completely horrible and out of no where.

"Buttercup, why can't you just admit that sometimes you need help?!"

"Why the hell would i need help from someone as weak as you!?"

"You know you can't handle it all, I'm your sister!"

"You aren't my sister- I HATE YOU!"

Silence filled the room and the only sound that was heard was both of their heartbeats. "No wait Bubs I-" But it was too late and Bubbles had run out of the room.

More tears fell from her face as she remembered all the hate and resentment in her older sister's voice. She sobbed and pulled her knee's closer to her chest. She shook slightly and tried to calm herself down.

"Stupid Buttercup, stupid fight, stupid monster...stupid me." she whispered closing her eyes. "Your not stupid." a rough voice said startling the blonde. Buttercup stood in her doorway, hands in pockets and a stoic face. Bubbles looked back down, refusing to make contact. A soft sigh was heard and Buttercup sat next to the blonde hands in her lap.

"I-m mmm.." Buttercup mummbled, her thumbs playing against each other and a slight blush adorned on her cheeks. "W-what?" Bubbles asked, whiping the drops of tears from her eyes. "I said i'm mmmm..." she said a little bit louder. Bubbles furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "U-um w-what?"

The blush on Buttercup's cheeks brightened and she stood up and clenched her hands. " I SAID I'M SORRY!" Bubbles jumped. "I-it's okay Buttercup..i-it doesn't m-matter.." she smiled trying to reassure the girl. Buttercup frowned and pulled the blonde into a hug gaining a squeak.

"Just because i don't ask for your help or say i don't love you doesn't mean it isn't true. Your my little sister, no matter what i say that doesn't change." she whispered into the blonde's ear. Bubbles' eyes widened in surprise before she felt a rush of tears fall down her face. "I just don't want you getting hurt okay?"

Bubbles nodded and pulled away whiping off the tears and smiled brightly. She took her older sister's hand and tugged her out the front door. "This calls for ice-cream, don'tcha think?"
