A Change In Dimensions

The fight between Madara Uchiha and Tobirama Senju gets out of hand, and everyone is surprised by what they see after an explosion. This is my first fanfiction, please read and review as all constructive criticism will be accepted with gratitude. There will be OC's involved eventually, but in the first two or three chapters it will be only canon characters.

This Fanfiction will be set ahead of the Manga. It is non-canon as it is set in the future.

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, nor do I own any of the characters in this fanfiction. They all belong to Masashi Kishimoto, save for any I come up with myself.

-Chapter 1.

Dust settles as the Kages are all either on the floor or struggling to stand up after suffering another defeat at the hands of Madara Uchiha. His chakra... it was just too powerful for the Kages. Even after the boost in chakra given to them by a clone of Katsuyu and from Naruto, it still wasn't enough. Madara, on the other hand, barely had a scratch on him. Even the most powerful attack from the Raikage couldn't make him break a sweat. It really was a sight to behold, the leaders of the most powerful nations in the world all brought to their knees before the power of one man, albeit an immortal one. Eventually, Madara got bored of watching the Kages feeble attempts to overpower him fail, and looked down upon them in disdain as he whispered the name of his favourite jutsu as he performed the required hand seals - Fire style: Great Fire Annihilation.

The enormous wall of fire advanced swiftly towards its intended target, but suddenly was put out with a large-scale water jutsu. Steam clouded the battleground and not shortly after, multiple gigantic dragons formed out of water shot through the steam and straight at Madara and following right behind, wooden missiles were flying at breakneck speeds towards the villainous Uchiha. Upon noticing the wooden missiles, a bloodthirsty grin appeared on Madara's face as he stood up and pulled out his war fan. Finally, what he had waited for had arrived – the First Hokage.

The man who killed his brother Izuna, Tobirama Senju, attacked first. He caught Madara by surprise with the way he closed the distance between the pair; one second the legendary water jutsu user was 50 metres away, the next he was literally on top of Madara, sword already drawn and Tobirama clutched the sharp weapon of steel in a menacing manner, its gleaming tip pointed directly at the Uchiha's eye. Madara simply sighed and pointed one finger at the former Second Hokage and prodded him gently in his chest. Several tense moments passed before Madara laughed and his hands appeared to be moving in a blur as he formed the required hand seals for yet another devastating fire style jutsu- this time Fire style: Great Fireball Jutsu.

Tobirama felt the searing hot flames lightly singe his body as he shut his eyes in fear of the most-known Uchiha jutsu. Expecting to be on fire, he opened his eyes and to his amazement a whole forest was protecting him! Tobirama grinned and jumped backwards, shouting out "I'll leave this to you then, brother!" as a figure in red armour leaped forwards towards Madara who immediately got into a battle stance.
