The Doctor was in trouble. Serious trouble. He was drunk on Coke. Rose shook her head but was unable to keep the smile from her face as she watched him bounce literally off the walls. Then he started to sing.

Rose couldn't hold it in as she began to snicker. He was singing to the tune of "Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam" – the most out of date and approximately annoying (after the Banana Song) children's song in the world - he even sounded like a cute little kid when he sang it.

Rose began to shake with laughter as the Doctor paused in his singing to come up to her. He stood there in front of her, a hysterical gleam in his eye and a wide, secretive smile on his face. She grinned back at him, wondering if he was still drunk. He walked over, grabbed her face with both of his hands and pressed his mouth passionately to hers. Rose blinked, then gave into the heady emotion that came with that delightful, unexpected kiss. She kissed him back and felt his fingers gently brush her shirt.
"You missed out a verse," murmured Rose when they had separated. "It goes like this:"

The Doctor nodded, smiled deeply into her eyes and picked her up with a grin.

He dropped down to avoid the friendly swat – and promptly forgot that Rose was in his arms. The slap was light and teasing.
"Let's go," murmured the Doctor, and at her nod, bustled his Rosie from the room.
