Dear Flamers,
I'm here today on account of my awesome friend, ImpossibleThings12.
Lately, she has been getting flames on her stories. And when I say flames, I mean hateful reviews.
Now, either all flamers just can't seem to use the proper form of "you're (and I have more faith in the American public than that)," and often don't remember to put periods at the end of their sentences, or it is one single person leaving the reviews. A single, hateful person, who is just plain mean.
I mean, come on. Seriously? Leaving reviews like that on someone's story? That's just mean. And plain stupid.
You know what, flamer?
I bet you're just jealous, because you aren't as good a writer as she is. I bet that you don't have any self esteem, so you try to go and wreck someone else's (and fail miserably at it).
You, flamer, are a coward. You're too scared to say what you say under a real identity, so you try to hide under fake guest names.
I bet that Rick Riordan would be disappointed in you, if he knew what you said. I'm disappointed.
How would you feel if you were an author, and someone said those things about you?
You know what else, flamer? I bet you won't even be brave enough to respond. And if you do, it will be in the form of hatred.
And if you do leave hatred on this story of mine, will I care?
No. I will not.
I've been through times when people hated me; I've survived. Why would I care about random insults someone posts on the internet?
And one thing more, flamer: you and your hatred are not welcome here.
I will give you one chance, and one chance only.
Stop flaming, and apologize to everyone you've hurt. Yes, right now.
And why not?
Do I expect you to apologize?
No. I don't. But deep down, don't you feel a bit sorry?
Do I expect you to stop flaming?
No. I do not. But what is the point of flaming?
So, get out there. Apologize. Impress me.
