Prompt: Silence – In a room, no one else there, yet sure something just whispered in the silence.
Silence
It was 1 in the morning, Alfred realized.
He put his hands over his face, groaning in frustration. He had a meeting tomorrow, and he couldn't fall asleep. His room was silent; maybe that was the problem. He could hear every tick of the clock that Arthur had insisted on putting in the room.
Tick.
Tock.
Alfred.
The Americans eyes widened when he heard his name whispered. He sat up, looking around. He pulled the blanket up around his shoulders, as if it would protect him from whatever else lay in that room with him.
It was nothing, Alfred told himself, lying back down. There was nothing else in the room with him; all the doors were locked and Tonny had told Alfred himself that the house wasn't haunted; and if anyone would know, it would be Tonny.
Tick.
Tock.
Alfred.
It happened again; that voice, barely a whisper called his name. It sounded all-too familiar, this time, and Alfred shuddered. No… that couldn't be. They broke up, and Alfred hated that man with everything he had! He hated him! Why would he still be hearing his voice?
He hated Ivan… didn't he?
