I remember when she confronted me. 4:27 P.M.. She walked right into my room, shut the door, and said "It doesn't have to be this way, Leo." That's when the argument started.

"You don't have to die, to stop Gaea."
"Well can you think of a better way, Beauty Queen?"
"Just give me time to think of one!" She pleaded, voice raising.
"Piper, the battle is tomorrow! I don't care if I die! My life is worth losing, if it means saving hundreds of other people!"
"Leo! Think about yourself, for once! Think about me! What will I do, if I lose you!?"
"You'll be with Jason! Piper there's no other way!"
"Leo, we already used the phisician's cure! You won't survive!"
"I know! But it's better if I die, than any of you! What would Annabeth do without Percy!? What would Hazel do without Frank!?What would Jason do without you!? All of you have somebody else!"
"Exactly! We all have you! What would we do without Leo McShizzle, Bad Boy Supreme!?"
"Piper, NOBODY will care if I die! Nobody!"
"Do you honestly think that if I didn't care, I would be here wasting my time trying to convince you not to kill yourself!?"
"Think about what you just said! You are wasting your time, and you're right! I know you don't care what happens to me! Just go and kiss Jason or something!"
"Let me find anoth-"
"No! Stop trying to work around it! You can't stop it! You should know this better than anyone! I may be breathing, and I may have blood rushing through my veins, but..."
