A/N: I was watching the movie ninja assassin the other day and while I was watching it, the thought that it and Naruto could become a great crossover passed through my mind. Of course not the modern day era but the over all theme.
I'm not much on giving away story lines or even pairings(there might or might not be one, but I'm not telling) but just so you know, if there will be, it wont be Naruto paired with Sakura/Hinata/Ino or any guys, I'm not into slash.
If there's one thing you should know about me is that I'm not trying for an average story or mediocre work, why would I waste my time unless I'm trying my best?
I personally like stories that make you think or have many twists in them, that's what I'm trying to write. I'm not much of a fan on stories that have the main character stay in the same situation or place for a long time, yeah that probably doesn't make sense but whatever.
I'm also not trying to go for predictable situations or scenes, I want to bring characters in cannon that's not developed into the light and also come up with characters of my own and give them life.
Chapter 1: Prologue
Long before the days of the hidden villages, shinobi clans ruled the lands. There use to be dozens, if not hundreds of clans spread out along the elemental nations. Their were many clans known for their strength, bloodline and their size: Hyuuga, Uchiha, Senju, Inuzuka, Fuuma, Kaguya and Yotsuki to name a few.
Over the years of the clan era, constant fights between clans where a common occurrence; to gain money, fame, land and power were the main reasons. However, over the years, many clans grew tired of the constant wars and decided to ban together to create villages, and so the hidden village in the leaves was born, the first ever village. In it, most of the notorious and strongest clans came together; the Senju, and the Uchiha were the most talked about, since they were considered mortal enemies.
Most of the clans throughout the elemental nation eventually followed suite, dispersing into different lands and eventually forming the other four hidden villages. There were still clans though who thought themselves better than to align with others and eventual founded many of the smaller countries spread out in the world.
But there was one such clan that is much more unique than the other clans. You see, this particular clan followed old customs and traditions that were as old as a thousand years, this clan being the most oldest clan know to date.
This clan wasn't like the Hyuuga or the Uchiha who liked to flaunt their strength whenever a opportunity was given, no, this particular clan was a true ninja clan. Their existence wasn't known by many people, sure, the hidden villages knew of them but they didn't know them.
Even there place of residency was a secret to clan members only. Barely any solid information about them is recorded in one place. The only real information known about them is that there a assassin clan. Stealth was their forte, very few people have every seen a member of the clan and even fewer known to date have survived an assassination attempt by a clan member.
They were only one of the many mysteries that plagued the elemental nations. And the clans name, Ozunu.
A/N: I felt that I skipped around a lot in the prologue and I am sorry about that, I am not exactly good with them. And please do not worry about the length, I like to keep my stories longer than five thousand words most of the time.
More information about the clan with be revealed in later chapters, information that I am mostly making up because the movie left many unanswered questions.
It will be a while before I post another chapter, I'm posting the prologue just to see what kind of reviews I get and see what everyone thinks about this kind of crossover.
