In the past, Brenna Banner would tell her aunt she needed more to eat because she was 'a growing girl'. Recently, that had held much more weight than it had used to.

She was the She-Hulk, the second one, anyway, she grew green and taller, it used up her energy, it made her tired, even if she didn't destroy anything, she was still exhausted every time she calmed down from a rage-storm, and needed to eat almost half her body-weight sometimes to make up for lost energy.

Jennifer Walters, her aunt, of course believed her, having the same condition. Unfortunately for their grocery bill, Brenna's attempts to get along a little better with the other side of her personality often left her ready and willing to eat a pizza by herself.

Jennifer personally liked Brenna as She-Hulk. She was still Brenna, and retained almost all of her mental facilities and personality traits, but she was more out-going, braver, more willing to try things, and not in the scientific sense.

Everything Brenna ever wanted to do, but held back on or was too self-conscious to do before, Jennifer could talk her into doing. Not that Brenna threw caution to the wind and did whatever she wanted, but as a Hulk, she was more impulsive than she was when she was smaller, but not reckless.

Wonderful changes were taking place in Brenna, in hulk form and out of, mentally and emotionally, but also physically.

Brenna was not as strong as Jennifer, but she could easily lift and carry several tons. Jennifer predicted that her niece would soon be out-lifting her, as the gamma affects were stronger on Brenna then they were for Jennifer. An impressive thought, since Jennifer could easily bench 100 tons. It also helped that Brenna had started doing moderate amounts of weightlifting, green and otherwise.

Of course, this was not to say that Brenna was not as comfortable in her form as Jennifer was. Jennifer liked her She-Hulk form over her Jennifer Walters form. Jennifer hadn't always liked the girl she used to be and much preferred her new and improved self. Yet, she wouldn't have Brenna in her position, either.

"You can prefer Brenna Banner," Jennifer told her. "You just need to be comfortable with She Hulk. I don't want you to hate yourself."

"That's what Dad does. He hates himself because he thinks he's a monster," Brenna reasoned. "Despite the fact that he is not in control of his mind and body at the time, he still feels responsible for damage done and lives lost."

"That's not the only cause of it," Jennifer said. "Sometimes, you can hate yourself because you think you're not smart, or pretty, or brave, or anything like that. Don't compare yourself to others, be the best you. That's the key, I think." Jennifer shook her head. "I don't just think it either, I know."

"I understand. Not only children must learn this lesson. I think some adults should as well." Brenna looked up at her seriously with probing eyes that seemed sometimes so much like Bruce's. It pained Jennifer that he couldn't see what he was missing.

After all, his girl was growing up, in more ways than one.
