It's amazing at how bad I am with serious one-shots. But, I always keep my promises. I dedicate this to my friend Erin. Hope you like it girl even though it's tooo short and suckish! :((((( (From Erin's POV)
Me, Vanessa and a few of us headed to the mall after Edge kept on complaining that he needed a completely new wardrobe. We both just exited out the door to Nikes, (Vanessa loves that place ok! Don't judge her :P) when we spotted Wade coming from the other direction.
"Sup Erin?" Wade asked as me and Vanessa walked side-by-side walking towards him.
"Nothin' much." I answered blushing a little.
"See you two around." he said with a wave and he was off to his own destination.
Vanessa looked toward his direction and when she made sure Wade was out of ear-shot, she moved her head towards me and whispered "You know he likes you right?"
That got my attention instantly.
"Really? No way! You're not serious." I replied blushing again.
"I'm serious. Chris Jericho says that Wade can't stop talking about you." she answered. I blushed even more.
"Omg! I never thought this could happen." I said sitting down in one of the chairs near the food court.
"Well believe it girly." she said.
"Well what do you know? Look behind you."
I turned around and spotted Wade heading towards our direction again but with Chris behind him this time.
"Hi Wade!" I said a little to excitedly and waving to him.
'Yeah, I'm sooo smart.' I thought mentally scolding herself.
"Hey Erin." Wade answered sitting down next to me.
"Am I always invisible to everyone!" Vanessa joked.
"Hmm.. Did you guys here something? Some kind of voice.. like from this certain direction.. hm..." Jericho said making motioning towards V.
"Shut up Chris." Vanessa said playfully slapping Chris on the arm and laughing.
"I'm joking sheesh. Anyway, I'm starving-"
"When are you not starving Jericho?" Wade interrupted.
"What I was saying is that I'm hungry. Whatcha guys want to eat?" Chris asked.
"Just take some McDonalds." I answered.
"Sure." Chris said getting up.
"I'm coming along too. He might eat the fries on the way back." Vanessa said standing up as well. "Be back soon guys."
When Chris and Vanessa left, awkward silence entered.
"Umm.. Nice weather we're having huh?" I said trying to break the silence.
"Yeah." he answered.
More seconds go by..
"Hey, umm I heard Vanessa told you about my little secret.." he said fading his words near the end.
"Oh, you did?" I answered a bit awkwardly.
"Yeah." he said rubbing the back of his neck. "But, I just want to tell you that it's true though. I do like you."
I think I'm as red as a tomato right now. I'm blushing like crazy.
'He really does like me? Omg! She wasn't lying after all..' I thought.
"So…" Wade said breaking my train of thought.
Smiling, I slid my hand into his. He looked up and smiled back. He got the message.
We stayed like that until V and Chris came back.
"Well well well! Looks like you finally got the guts to tell her didn't ya Wade!" Chris said smiling and carefully putting down the tray.
"Yep." he said smiling and looking back to me.
"Just goes to show anything can happen." V said giving Jericho a high-five.
