Yet another plan snubbed. Sure, we were able to pull it off with the boys making up their own plan; but just once, can't they follow mine. Okay, they do follow the plans that deal with the Cyclonians on a larger scale, but they ignore the smaller ones. I swear, my ideas go in one ear and out the other with those three. (Isn't there anything in between to stop that from happening?) Stork refuses to leave the Condor most of the time. Of course, it doesn't matter what the plan is with him, we're always doomed. But at least he says something. And Radarr, well...he's Radarr. However, Aerrow, Finn and Junko—especially Aerrow and Finn—always seem to ditch my plans for whatever pops into their heads. I know Aerrow's the leader. Why does he ask me to draw up a plan he's not going to use?

Yes, I am the crystal expert, but sometimes I just... Don't get me wrong, I love working with crystals (Stork told me this was a very good thing; otherwise the Condor would have been blown-up a long time ago. It made me smile for a little while.) and there really isn't anything I enjoy more. And as far as navigation is concerned, I admit it, sometimes we have to forgo the original plan; but we're talking about tactics here.

It's not that I feel unappreciated for what I do (though there are those days) I just wish they'd give my plans more than a simple thought. Finn keeps calling them lame. How does he know? (Okay, so maybe a few of them have been.) He spends most of his time complaining about them. Aerrow and Junko don't help much. (Aerrow does try to be nice about it.) If they don't like my plan, why don't they just say so? What are they afraid of?

Lately they've been telling me that it won't work. Alright, they may not actually be saying that but they're definitely implying it. How do you know if you don't try it? Maybe it will, maybe it won't; but you'll never find out if you don't try. Half the time Aerrow just glances over the plan after I've worked it out and shrugs. How encouraging. He doesn't give any feedback. A shrug is not feedback.

Can I strangle him? How about Finn?

I suppose in the long run it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. I know that I've worked on it to the best of my abilities, regardless if the plans are used or not. Or even looked at.

Still, it's nice to have someone (or even better, multiples of someone) say something positive about your work, to just give you a little encouragement every now and then.

I do have a reason for writing this. It is a personal thing, but not necessarily something I would have issue sharing with others. It's hidden within the story. But anyway...
