Well this is my first story/fic of any kind. I kept it a one-shot for that. So I could try and see what kind of writing I have going on. It would be lovely to have some feedback, we all know how that's important and helpful! So here's this little thing I wrote...just an important moment for Santana in front of the glee club!

Silence.

Her palms are sweating. She had never felt this nervous before. Not even when she had to get that surgery last summer. Every single fibre in her body is screaming, demanding her to run, to scream, to just do something already.

Her head feels light and she can hear this sort of buzz. Like sometimes when you listen to really loud music for too long. She can feel the several pairs of eyes locked on her.

She breathes...calmly at first, trying not to show any signs of being nervous or not confident enough. After all she is who she is! 'I can do it' she thinks. She had actually trained many times in front of the mirror, preparing different speeches and answers for what she dreamed of doing someday.

But no matter what, in life you'll never be fully prepared.

You just have to accept and go with it!

She remembers Britt actually saying those words to her. 'Britt...' she exhales.

- What? Sorry we couldn't hear you Santana! - She can't even remember who's asking.

She's so off in her bubble that she doesn't even notice they had start talking and looked kind of bored. She remembers she's in the room with them...

'It's now. You already took the first step. You stood up. Now just speak.' She opens her mouth and feels trapped. She's shaking now. She looks up and instantely her eyes connect with someone. Pure and innocent love staring right back at her. Her heart jumps, like it did the first time 15 years ago. And that's all she wants for the rest of her life.

- I love her...always have, always will - And that's all she remembers saying before someone has her trapped in their arms and the whole choir room has erupted in cheers and claps.
