My Love in the Stars
It was Valentine's Day for young Marik Ishtar. He was searching around for a gift for his love, StarJen. He had a few hours till she got home from work. He started off to get StarJen a perfect gift. He went to the jewelry store. There was nothing in amethyst. She loved amethyst, then again she also loves rubies. So Marik got a silver bracelet with rubies on it.
Then Marik had to get some chocolates for her. There was only white and dark chocolates. StarJen hated both of them. So he bought a Hershey bar with almonds. Next came flowers. There weren't any roses. He bought sunflowers. Then came the cards. There weren't any left. So he went back home to make one for her after buying some red and pink construction paper. Marik got everything set up.
It was almost 4 PM. StarJen was going to be home soon. He almost forgot to make the card. There was still time to make it. Marik rushed to get that done. When he was done, he was a mess. There was glue, glitter, and paper all over him. StarJen just came in. When she saw Marik she laughed and she laughed hard. Marik joined in the laughter after looking in the mirror and saw how much of a mess he was. StarJen grabbed the card that was glued to Marik's pants.
"Thank you Marik," StarJen said with a smile.
"That's not all." He said pointing to the now glue covered sun flowers. Marik frowned a bit while StarJen laughed a bit.
"A little problem?" StarJen asked while still laughing.
"No." Marik said while pulling out the Hershey Bar that has now melted.
"You sure?" She asked.
"Yeah just hold on." Marik said running to his room to grab the bracelet. "Happy Valentines Day StarJen" He said as he opened the box. StarJen's eyes lit up with gleam.
"Silver and red...those are good colors." StarJen said as Marik put the bracelet on her wrist.
"Thank you." Marik said.
"Now for you gift." StarJen said, "I don't have it for you yet but it will come. You are going to be a father Marik. I'm pregnant." Marik fainted.
