"What is it Ron?" For the past half-hour, Hermione Granger had been doing her Arithmancy reading, though she was distracted by a pair of blue eyes looking at her oddly.
"I don't like them." he said after a moments silence. "I don't like them and you should take them off." he told her stubbornly.
"I need them and I like them." Hermione gave him the once-over. "Well, I don't like your shirt but you don't see me telling you to take that off."
Ron smiled, a secret smile for only the two of them.
"Well, last I remember, you don't ask."
"Too bad Ronald, I need them to read."
"What about those Muggle things that you stick in your eyes?"
"I can't - allergies."
"Well, you should take them off when I'm around."
"I love you Ron, but I'm not going to take my glasses off just for you."
"But it's harder to kiss you." Ron whined.
"You don't see Ginny complaining about Harry's."
"That's different. He's always had those. I don't like them on you - they hide your face." Hermione smiled, and when she took them off he breathed out, relieved.
"Fine, you can kiss me now though they're going on when we're done." Ron leaned in and kissed her softly, taking the glasses from her hands.
"Whoops," he murmured against her mouth.
And he promptly broke the glasses.

A/N: One day I decided that hey, Hermione reads enough, so why shouldn't she have to get reading glasses? So I wrote this. It's only a oneshot, sorry, no more.
