The skylines of Tokyo zipped across Hoji's vision as SuperDekaRanger Robo raced towards a destination that only Akaza Banban knew. Tetsu and Umeko wanted to know where they were going. Jasmine said something about after his and Hoji's behavior today nothing surprised her anymore. Sen-chan was eerily silent. As for himself... he should have seen this coming.
"What do you think you're doing!" He was aware of what Ban was up to, but that didn't mean he was in any way happy about him wisking the five of them off across town in SPD-issued mech.
"Taking you to the ball, Cinderella!" He didn't need to see Ban to know he was smiling like some damn fool.
"Have you ever even read Cinderella!"
"Sure I have! It's a fairy tale about a girl who wants to go to a party but can't because she has too much work to do. But then a giant robot came and picked her up so she could go after all, right?"
Hoji wanted to yell at him again... but was too amazed at how much Ban was willing to do just to so he could make his sister happy. All of this for us? That's... not something I would've expected from Ban.
"So, um, where's the restaurant again, partner?"
Amazement at Ban's actions gone, Hoji let out a long suffering sigh. "Don't call me partner. And try checking the map." Should've known some things never change.
