Ticktockticktock…
It never seemed to end. The never-ending ticks and tocks were always plaguing his mind. It drowned out all other thoughts/voices/sounds.
Ticktockticktockticktock...
Nothing could stop the incessant tick and tock of the clock. It drove him mad. He never heard anything else. All other thoughts/voices/sounds never broke past the tick and tock of the clock.

The clock grew louder everyday passing day. It wouldn't ever quiet. Time had long since lost its meaning to him. All time meant to him was the incessant tick and tock of the clock. All it meant was the agonizing rise in the sound of the clock. Time was a never ending sequence filled with the sound of the clock, and it would never end.

He had to find some way to silence the clock. He couldn't take it anymore. It was destroying the last strands of sanity he still possessed. He wanted to hear thoughts/voices/sounds other than the clock, but what could he do to stop it. Nothing he had ever tried worked. Nothing…
Ticktock goes the clock and jumpsplat goes Erin.
Finally the sound of the incessant clock was silenced, but so was he…
