You had Kaori, Yamagata had some girl, forgot who she is. So did Kaneda, (though I'm not sure if either of them cared for their girlfriends as anything more than a good fuck once in a while) and Kei. Me? I was just the strange little boy. Who did I have to care about me? Nobody. And then you kill the one person I cared about the most.
It hurts.
You're not the guy we used to know. You're just a killer who gets off on other people's death. But you killed Yamagata. Fucking hell, he was your friend too, dammit!
