I am the villain, an essential part of the story,

I am the gate that bars the hero from glory,

I am the black to your white,

The dark to your light,

From assassination to world domination,

It's all in my occupation,

To cause disaster,

Thank goodness I'm my own master,

Because taking orders,

And having restrictions and borders,

Isn't my style,

Because I'm looking for an opponent worthwhile,

And peek-a-boo,

I found you,

So as we clash and rage,

I'll set the stage,

For your downfall,

Because justice doesn't exist at all,

There's only love and hate and me and you,

And if you were by my side there's nothing I couldn't do,

But alas,

The die has been cast,

And we're on opposite sides on the spectrum,

And marching to the beat of different drums,

So all I can do is happily hum,

At the deliciously dangerous thing you've become,

Because I am the villain and you are the hero,

I'll always one-up you so your score will always be zero.
