Chapter 1
Sarutobi Hiruzen, Sandaime Hokage of Konohagakure no Sato, a Legendary Shinobi with many nicknames, such as "The Profesor" or "God of Shinobi". A person who outlived his ancestor and successor as the Hokage was sitting in his Office and scribbling thought loads of paperwork.
But this was not the usual Paperwork, it was the time of year, where the Graduation Class would take the Genin Exams and Sandaime's job was to put the academy students who passed into groups of three with a Jonin who would lead and train them.
The Exams took place yesterday, but the Sandaime has like always another week to plan the teams. There was one little problem, he had two members of the Uchiha Clan in this year, Uchiha Sasuke and his sister, Uchiha Kushina, who was named after their mothers best friend, Uzumaki Kushina.
Of course, he could place both of them on the same team, but there was a little problem, Sasuke and Kushina didn't get along. After the Uchiha Massacre, Sasuke was bent on avenging his Clan, while Kushina did not, which made Sasuke hate her for, as he said 'This is what the Clan expect us to do'.
So, Hiruzen had to place them on two different teams, but there was only one Jonin with Sharingan that could help them, should either of them unlock their Clan's Dojutsu. Suddenly a thought struck the old Kage. It was risky, yes, but it was his only option in this situation, besides he could use some time with interacting with people his age.
"Kitsune," Said Sarutobi and in an instant, an ANBU was kneeling in front of the old Kage. The ANBU was wearing the usual ANBU outfit with a Ninja-to strapped on his back. The only thing that made him single out of the other ANBU's were his blond, spiky hair.
"You can take your mask off," Said the old man, making the ANBU in front of him to slowly and hesitantly take his fox mask down, revealing a face of a bot, no older than 15. On each cheek, he had three whiskers-marks, but that was not what caught Sarutobi's attention.
The thing that caught his attention was the boys cold, pitch-black eyes. Eyes which no person of his age should have. Eyes of a person who saw a countless amount of death and hate. Of course, this wasn't his normal eyes, no, this was the eyes that had implanted shortly after the Uchiha massacre.
Naruto was one of the few persons who knew the truth behind Itachi's killings spree. After all, Naruto, who by this time was 11 years old, was the one who helped Itachi out, but not by killing the Uchiha's, only by destroying their eyes so no one could take them away after their deaths.
Of course, here comes the question, how and where from does the blond-haired ANBU has those eyes. The answer is simple, it was a gift. Well, maybe an unusual gift, but after all, it was the only thing he got to remember his Godmother, Mikoto Uchiha, Itachi's, Kushina's and Sasuke's mother.
A moment before Itachi killed her and Naruto destroyed her eyes, she made and request to Itachi, to make sure that her eyes got implanted into Naruto so that she can protect him, even if she is there for him. Itachi accepted her request and Naruto her gift and shortly after they ended their mission, the duo went to inform Hokage, who had the Headmaster of the hospital to do the implantation.
Thanks to the doctor's abilities, Naruto, unlike Kakashi, was able to turn his Sharingan on and off. Soon after the massacre, Naruto started to train with his Sharingan with the help of Kakashi and the scrolls from the Uchiha library and not too long later, he was promoted as an ANBU Captain at age of 12.
Throughout the next 4 years when Naruto wasn't on missions, he would either train or look after Sasuke and Kushina, who were at the age of 7 when the massacre occurred, so nothing would happen to them. He said that he owed this much to Mikoto and Itachi for all they have done for him.
While Naruto was sharpening his skills in Tai, Nin, Gen, and Kenjutsu, he gained quite the reputation as a Shinobi and when he was 13, he was Ranked as an A-Ranked Ninja thought the Elemental Nations and given a monicker 'Naruto of the Sharingan' for his skills with using the Dojutsu. Of course, there were other names such as 'The Nine-Tailed Naruto' or 'Naruto of the Leaf'.
Of course, while he gained a reputation as a Shinobi, he also gained a reputation among the girls and woman who created an official fan club which consisted of 65% of the female population of Konoha. Naruto naturally always escaped when he saw a mob of his fangirls try to get close to him.
The Blond ANBU was also dubbed as one of the strongest Shinobi the Village had created, already a bit after becoming 13 recommended for the ANBU commander position or even said that he was a candidate for being the Fifth Hokage.
Well, coming back to the topic at hand, Sarutobi looked over the 16 years old teenager in front of him who was still in the kneeling position.
"Naruto-kun, take a seat. I have a new mission for you," Said Sandaime as Naruto took a sit and was about to place his mask, but the old man stopped him. "Your next mission won't need you to use the mask," He said, making Naruto tilts his head to the side.
"What kind of mission would that be, Hokage-sama?" Asked the ANBU Captain in his usual cold and devoid of any emotions voice. Sarutobi sighed and lit up his pipe.
"You are going to become a Jonin-Sensei of a team with one of the two Uchiha's. Your mission is to protect him or her and help them develop the Sharingan," Said Hiruzen, making Naruto's eyes to widen.
"Hokage-sama, does that mean-" Started the teenager, but was interrupted by Hiruzen who extended his hand over his desk.
"Yes, you are leaving ANBU and are given the Rank of Jonin," Said Sandaime as Naruto slowly handed him his Fox mask. "Come here tomorrow to get files of your new team," Said Hiruzen, making Naruto nod and stand up.
"You are dismissed," Said the old man, making Naruto bow and disappear.
A week later the newly promoted Genin were sitting and waiting for their Jonin-Sensei to come. Umino Iruka, who was their previous Sensei, told them to wait in Class until their new Sensei would come and take them.
Suddenly all eyes moved towards the door which was opened by no one else then Asuma Sarutobi, followed by Naruto and some different Jonin. They all stood in front of the Class, Asuma was the first to speak.
"Team 10, Nara Shikamaru, Akimichi Choji and Yamanaka Ino, follow me," He said and started to walk out of the Class, soon followed by his team. Naruto looked at the Genin in front of him and took a step forward.
"Team 8, Uchiha Kushina, Inuzuka Kiba and Aburame Shino, meet me at the roof," He said and disappeared, making his team to leave the class.
Once they entered the roof, they saw their Sensei sitting on a railing, waiting patiently for them. As he looked over his Genin, he took their appearance.

"Alright, I think introductions are in order then, I will start. My name is Uzumaki Naruto, my likes are training and Ramen, my dislikes are my Fan Girls and annoying people. My hobbies are training and reading books. I don't really have any dream for the future," Said Naruto and pointed at Kiba. "Your turn," He said.
"My name is Inuzuka Kiba! My likes are training, my Ninken Akamaru and food. My dislikes are arrogant pricks like Sasuke-teme, my hobbies are spending time with Akamaru and my friends. My dream for the future is to become Hokage!" Said the brunette boy, Naruto turned to Shino and gave him a nod.
"My name is Aburame Shino, my likes are bugs, my dislikes are people who think my Clan is creepy and kill bugs without a reason. My hobbies are watching bugs and training. My dream for the future is to find a new species of a bug," Said Shino in his usual emotionless voice. Naruto turned to the last person in his team and sweatdropped when he saw her slight blush.
'Like really? Does every girl I meet have to be my fangirl or have a crush on me?' Naruto asked himself and gave a nod to Kushina.
"My name is Uchiha Kushina, my likes are training and gardening, my dislikes are my brother Sasuke, annoying fanboys and arrogant people. My hobbies include training, gardening and reading books. My dream for the future is to be the first Uchiha to become Hokage," She said with a smile, still a small blush present on her face.
"Alright then, with this done, meet me at noon in training grounds 8 for your real Genin Exam. Ja Ne," He said with a wave of a hand and used Shunshin to disappear, leaving the three Genin alone.
