I've Heard of Heaven

I've heard of Heaven

Where fountains flow

Where mansions stand high

And streets are gold

I've heard of Heaven

Where God sits on his throne

And watches over

His Heavenly dome

I've heard of Heaven

Where Jesus' at his side

Where angels love

To sing, praise, and cry

I've heard of Heaven

Where Hallelujah rings

Where we shout to the Lord

And shout to the King

I've heard of Heaven

Where there are no more fears

No more pain

And no more tears

I've heard of Heaven

Where we are all safe

If we believe in Jesus

And in him we put our faith

I've heard of Heaven

Where joy isn't tied down

Where peace is unlimited

And love is unbound

I've heard of Heaven

From the Bible

From songs

From story books

But no piece of writing

Can truly describe

The way Heaven feels

And looks
