A girl by the name of Martha Cox was having a birthday. It was her 16th birthday and decided to have a birthday party. She invited everyone in her grade, but sadly…………….. everyone had an excuse.
"I have a basketball tournament." Troy said.
"Taylor and I have to go to a decatholon thing." Gabriella lied with Taylor nodding.
"Ditto with Troy." Chad said with a confused. Chad being an idiot believed Troy. "Come on Troy we got to go practice for the tournament!" Chad said excitedly running away with his basketball humming. Troy just rolled his eyes and followed.
The day of the party came and Martha was as blue as a blueberry. No one had showed up yet. Suddenly the doorbell rang. At the door was Ryan with a simple little box.
"Ryan I was hoping you would come!" Martha said as she led him in.
"Where is everyone?" Ryan asked still guarding the box with his life.
"No one came." Martha replied softly full of sadness.
"Well, I came" Ryan said trying to make her feel better, "and I brought you a gift! Here! Open it!". Martha took the gift and opened it. Inside was a golden heart locket. The sadness quickly washed away and she was just about to put in on.
"Wait! Read the back!" Ryan said. On the back it read Martha, will you go out with me?. Tears were forming in Martha's eyes as she jumped into Ryan's arms. They kissed and lived happily ever after!
