Nightmares
She could smell it again
Almonds
It was so vivid… It always was. The fact it was so vivid scared her, there was no escaping this nightmare while you were asleep, No pretending it wasn't happening or telling yourself it was only a dream, because while you were in it; It was real
That's how she knew where she was. It was Always the same smell, filling her nose and setting her heart racing and her palms sweating. Always the same room too, the same familiar safeness of McGee's apartment… except the safeness was gone.
She heard a knock on the door and forced her legs to walk across the room to answer it. She knew it was Mikel before the door flew open. She ran from him picking up McGee's typewriter and hurling it as hard as she could at him. She ran to the bathroom, locking herself in and watching the lock slowly turn as he picked it from the outside. Screaming, she closed her eyes, and then she felt herself falling
She landed with a smack in the elevator. Looking round she realised that is was moving to fast.
"Gibbs!" She screamed "GIBBS"
She heard herself scream as she fell towards the floor… it moved closer except then she fell through the roof of a van. The van tyres screeched as it moved forward at tremendous speed. Abby looked in her pockets there was nothing there. This had never happened before and it set her heart beat wild. Panting with fear the girl grabbed onto the side of the van as it flung her to the side again, smacking her hand of the floor. She could almost feel the pain. As terror overtook her, the doors on the back of the van opened…
"Shit…"
