Hey West Wing Fandom.
So I'm not really a writer myself but I do love to read fanfic. Anyway I have an idea for a story and I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to write the story (if they like the idea) or willing to co-author it with me. Anyway the idea I have was inspired by the fourth episode of the third season (Netflix as season 3 is messed up due to the specials) when the cast has the state dinner. During this episode there is a brief scene in which the president goes up to the residence and talks to a sick Abbey. I'm not sure why they decided to make her sick and it didn't really add anything to the episode as it lasted less than 3 minutes. So I thought to myself why not expand upon it and give that story line more meat. I'm a huge sucker for sickfics so if anyone is out there and like me likes them and wants to write this idea or write it with me I'd be glad to see it. It could also become a series because there's no way all the characters in this show are healthy all the time (minus the president) considering their jobs and the hours they put in. This is just a suggestion so give me any thoughts on the idea. I'm particularly interested in Jed/Abbey but if you want to do any character that's fine. Maybe someone could pull off a nice Mandy story. Probably not.
