Author Note: This is a Naruto fanfic; however the characters may or may not be the same as they are/were in the manga or anime. Also, I have included words that may not be actual words, except to me, and my psychotic mind.

Chapter One
Zemos typed a few more lines before tapping the "Run" option that was the view-screen. Looking around at the clearing near the wooded cliffs, Zemos quickly spied a figure at the edge of the clearing, and began briskly walking towards it. Hearing footsteps coming towards him, Naruto turned around and smiled. Peering over Zemos's right shoulder, Naruto noticed nothing happening in the middle of the clearing, and clearly confused, asked, "Zemos, why isn't anything happening?", gesturing towards the marked-off area in the clearing.
"Something will happen soon, just wait. Besides once the underground fortifications are complete, we can then begin with the above-ground walls, and hopefully by the time this operation is complete, squad two will be ready for 'Plan Return', which means that ninjas will die, however the war should be shortened." Zemos said calmly.
"I want the walls and ceiling reinforced by steel supports. Of course there has be running water and sewage, and don't forget….."
Naruto declared.
"There will be all that as long as the materials are in the empty-space pocket. Remember that new supplies are put into the empty-space pocket every hour, on the hour. So don't worry about anything." interrupted Zemos.
"Shouldn't you two be watching what's happening?" asked a familiar voice.
Turning around, both Naruto and Zemos came face to face with Sakura.
"Where the hell did you come from Sakura?" questioned Naruto.
"I've been here for a while, however, that's not important, what's important is that this operation doesn't get messed up by you two incompetent fools. Besides which, do either one of you two have anyone posted on guard duty? We can't have any of the other nations finding out about this fortification we're building. If they find out anything about it, we're doomed!" exclaimed Sakura.
"Um, not to seem stupid, but how is there dirt being moved if all three of us are standing around talking about stuff with no real importance?" asked Naruto timidly.
"Let me put this in a way that even your brain should be able to comprehend it, it's magic. Understand?" stated Zemos.
"Uh, not really." Naruto said, still clearly confused.
"Well then, you're just not thinking hard enough. In fact, I want you to read this book. Inside you shall find the answer to your question." Zemos said plainly, handing Naruto a thick and dusty book.
Finished with talking at the moment, the threesome turn around and watch dirt being moved from the center of the clearing to the edges of the clearing. Soon realizing that they would be trapped outside of the growing outer wall, the trio jumped the over the wall, and only Naruto managed to land flat on his face. Grasping Naruto's forearm, Zemos deftly pulled Naruto to his feet. Hearing a kunai knife being thrown, Zemos jumps out of the way, and looks in the direction of that the kunai knife was thrown, and saw……
That's the end of chapter one, and please read and review. Also, suggestions are appreciated and will be used and cited in upcoming chapters and possibly other fanfics. Zemos is my idea and creation, so do not group him as a character in Naruto manga or anime.
