In love
He never really paid that much attention to Victoire Weasley. Not because he didn't see her much because he did. Every time one of the "Weasley cousins", as he liked to call them even though his godfather's children technically weren't Weasleys, had birthday, which with 12 children happened quite often, he was always invited. Molly Weasley claiming that he was "just as much part of the family as everyone else". Admitted she was rather pretty, pretty logic with that mother, but still, she was really just "little Victoire" daughter of Bill and Fleur. Born on the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts. He had cheered at her when she was sorted into Ravenclaw and sometimes, if they meat in the corridors at Hogwarts they would talk a little.
However, as he grew up Ted Remus Lupin began to realize more and more that she wasn't just "little Victoire".
In his last year they began to hang out together, only as friends of course, when the weather allowed it spending hours at the lake and going to Hogsmeade together. He would often use his metamorphorgus skills to change his hair into all kind of crazy colours, something which always made her laugh. When she returned to school after the holyday he made her promise to write and she did. Every week to be precise, sometimes even twice, Telling about life at the school and of studying for her N.E.W.Ts. And he in turn told her how things were at his grandmother's place. When she returned for the summer they spent many days at the beach close to her parents' house. Just walking and talking. At first just beside each other but as weeks passed it became natural for them to join hands and one evening, during an amazingly beautiful sunset they carefully kissed. They were dating so when he went to King's cross to see her off he found it natural to kiss her goodbye. Okay, kissing was maybe the wrong word. Snogging was a better word to use. Still, she was his girlfriend so when his oldest god brother turned up and teased them he polite but firmly asked James to shove before he turned his attention back to Victoire. Kissing her a last time before she jumped aboard the train.
