Thanks again to my girl Bre for keping me with this story I love love love it!
Chapter 1 About a year ago, her and Gordon got married. After dating for over three years. Almost two months, they found out they were expecting. Sarah and Gordon decided it was time to eat healthier, especially if there was a baby on the way. Sarah just thought she would just eat healthy foods until the baby was due, then go back to her normal food habits of coffee and chips.
Sarah made her way through Berkeley's Market, checking off items as she put them in the cart. Sarah compared the apple sauces she held, figuring out which one is the best. "Off brand it is." she says as she places the jar into the cart. "So what else pumpkin?" She watches as her seven month old daughter reaches for the pudding. "No no, too much sugar."
''Sarah.'' she hears a man call her name. She turns around to find a brown eyed man, blue eyes, and a smile that could make you melt. "Mark?" Yep Mark Cyr, Amber's former English teacher.
"How are you?" Mark asks, not seeing her since he taught Amber.
'"Goood...you?"
''Same." He say as he feels a tiny hand touch his arm. "Oh, why hello there. Who is this?"
''This is Jenna, my daughter.''
''Your daughter?''
''Yeah my little angel."
"I didn't know you had a daughter."
"Well I had Amber too." Sarah jokes.
"Well I knew that. So how is Amber and Drew?"
"They're good. Amber went to Berkeley College and Drew is going to Fresno College."
"That's good. I'm glad to hear. So where is your husband?"
"Oh Gordon is working late at the office. We're just doing some shopping before he gets home."
"Well it was really nice catching up with you. Bye Jenna." Mark gives a small wave to the two. Mark makes his way back to his car, "My how things changes."
Sarah goes along with her shopping, a smile plastered on her face. She makes her way to the book section, thinking its time for a new cookbook since her had a mishap with the oven. She looks around, figuring out which one she is interested in. She grabs one, and passes the Clearance stand of books. She peaks and finds The Sound And The Fury, "Hello old friend." she says as she places it in her cart and proceeds to check out.
Some things changes, and others don't.
