Roxas and Namine sat besides each other on the paopu tree's low hanging branch, facing the sea. The moon's reflection showed brightly against the slow tides. Namine gave small sigh. "We can't stay here, Roxas." Namine said softly.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" Roxas asked, watching her from the corner of his eyes.
"We're hurting Sora and Kairi. Can't you tell?" Roxas frowned but didn't respond. He returned his gaze towards the sea. "Two people cannot live in the same body. It's been three months. I think it's time to go."
"You said that if I returned to Sora's body, then I'd be whole."
"I did, didn't I?"
"But now, you're telling me that I can't be whole."
"You can. Only one person can live in the body. Otherwise they become crazy. It's either you or Sora." Roxas jumped off the tree in anger.
"How can you say that?"
"I'm sorry."
"No! Is that what you are gonna do? Are you going to take over Kairi's body?" Namine shook her head.
"I'm going to leave. Remember? Nobodies were never meant to exist. Nobody is going to miss us."
"Stop it! Don't say that."
"Sorry." Namine mumbled. She looked away sadly. Roxas fell sitting on the ground.
"Nobodies have nowhere to go."
"Maybe there is."
"Nobodies don't have hearts."
"Before Axel died, Sora said he felt something different than the other Organizaton XIII members."
"They gained hearts?" Roxas turned to Namine. Their eyes met.
"Yes. You and I also have hearts." Namine slid off the tree. "Maybe, we'll see on the other side."
"What if we disappear?"
"We won't." she reassured with a smile.
"How do you know?" Roxas asked, standing up.
"I don't but something tells me that we won't." Roxas saw Namine fading to Kairi. Roxas went to catch a falling Kairi only for Kairi to be replaced with a black-haired girl.
"X…Xion?"
KHKHKHKHKHKHKHKHKH
Riku hopped over the tree branch. "Roxas?" Riku saw Roxas sitting on the sand with an unconscious Kairi on his lap.
"What happened to Kairi?" Riku asked.
"She's just sleeping." Riku leaned against the tree. "Xion," Roxas whispered, "Namine's parting gift."
"Parting?"
"She's gone." There was a long pause.
"I see."
"I'll be going to."
"You know what happens when you go?" Roxas shook his head.
"Xion didn't know either. I don't if I'll be remembered or not but you know what? I'm not afraid anymore." Roxas' hair darkened and his clothes changed.
"Leaving before Kairi wakes up?"
"Yeah, I am. It's better this way." Riku shook his head but grinned nonetheless. "Any messages?"
"No, not really." Roxas turned his head to smile but before he could, he disappeared, leaving an unconscious Sora to fall to the ground. "How can I say something to someone I forgot, right, Xion?"
KHKHKHKHKHKHKHKH
Roxas quickly shielded his eyes from the blinding light. "Hey!" he heard someone familiar yell. Roxas opened his eyes to see a familiar town. "Roxas!" Roxas turned around to see several people.
"Axel?"
"The one and only." Axel grinned. Besides him were Xion and Namine.
"You guys." Axel ran towards them in joy as they smiled back.
