Scene Change: ~~~~~~~

Hitsugaya's eyes fluttered open before quickly shutting them, his right hand reaching up to his face, covering his eyes from the sunshine that shined upon his face. He growled, before pausing to blindly use his other hand to try and yank the curtains close. He groaned and rolled over, back facing the windows that were widely open and sat up slowly.

His eyes fluttered open once more and his back cracked as he straightened himself, a hand reaching up to his forehead to wipe off a sheet of cool sweat. Hitsugaya thought dryly to himself, "Well well, yet another day of paperwork. I better get started, or else I will never be able to finish them. I shouldn't have volunteered to do the paperwork of the fifth division, now I haven't even finished my own share of paperwork, much less get started on the fifth divisions."

He stood up, swaying as he became dizzy and the edges of his vision started to turn black and close on him. "Whoa," he thought, "I shouldn't have stood up so quickly." It suddenly seemed that the room had gotten hotter and that there were heat waves in the room. His breath turned rasp and his face turned as pale as sheet. Then, his vision turned black and he collapsed, a heap of clothes on the ground. Little did he know, what was going to happen.

~~~~~ Three Hours Later ~~~~
Matsumoto yawned, slowing standing up to stretch herself. She shuffled over to the bathroom, rubbing her eyes. She started her morning ritual, finishing fresh and ready for a new day. She left her house, locking the door behind her and left to head for the office where she would most probably find Hitsugaya at. She strolled through the pathways, pausing sometimes to wave at people, promising to stop by whenever she has free time to spare and engage a conversation with them. Of course, with the promise of having free wine to drink if she does.
She sighed, thoughts leading to her captain, Hitsugaya. "Hmm… I wonder if taicho has started paperwork or not. What am I saying, of course he has already started. Knowing him, he has started long ago and is currently doing paperwork while waiting for me to arrive."
Smiling at the thought of Hitsugaya angrily waiting for her made her think that her captain had too much stress anyway. He was just a kid, no matter how much he denied and brushed off the stress like it did not affect him, she could still see the toll that the stress was taking up on him, not only she could see the effects, everyone could. He was still a kid o matter what and a kid should not have so much responsibility weighing on him. The dark bags that were beneath his eyes were getting bigger and bigger since the `Aizen leaving soul society and betraying all of them' incident and sooner or later, he was going to suffer the conquences of sleeping late and waking too early, not really getting much sleep.
Matsumoto sighed again before breaking her train of thoughts when she realized that she had reached the office.
