LIVING IN THE MOON

a/n: i'm not really emotionally stable today, so don't you dare mess with me. xD

disclaimer: credits run to BOB ONG for inspiring me through his book KAPITAN SINO.
I only own this out of this world story; the rest belongs to HIRO MASHIMA.

Her delicate fingers ran across the railings of the balcony outside the Heartfilia mansion. Sounds of merry-making were very much audible on the second floor of that house where the ocean blue rainmaker was hanging out. The moon was strikingly beautiful that night, casting its radiant light unto that seemingly endlers stretch of Heartfilian treasures.
"You're alone again," commented a hoarse and familiar voice behind her. "You should mingle more with the guild members downstairs. This is a heck of a chance Lucy's father consented us on using his damn old and lonely mansion."
She smiled. No matter what she do, purposely or coincidentally he would always come to her rescue. Those times he'd save her made her love him more each and every day. But no matter how much she tried to let him know her feelings, it still wouldn't reach him. She couldn't say his dumb for his far better than Natsu when it comes to the cognitive aspect. Maybe, he won't just accept her feelings because of some unidentified attributes.
These thoughts immediately saddened the beautiful maiden.
"I've heard that somebody has already gone to the moon," she said out of the blue. (You see, she can't always say things accordingly infront of Grey.)

"Uhuh."
"It's lonely there."
"Uhuh."

'And I'm lonely too...' she almost said. Why does she this way again? It seems like her heart had become emptier and emptier each day... Maybe it was a wrong idea to join the guild. She should have just strayed or died with her Phantom Guild comrades...

"You see Juvia, " he looked at her intently and her heart could only double its beating. "Sometimes, even if you are alone you can always be happy. You don't need many friends, you'll just need those who'll stay with you through thick and thin. Because you don't need a million of people to make the world go round. Sometimes even a single person can already make the other person's world go round."
She fell silent. And he fell silent too. The moon was their only witness of the two souls making the world go round, with hands intertwined.

E/N: I'm on the mood now! :)
