AN: Hello! This is my first completed fanfiction, and fan fiction I've posted! I hope you like it its a little depressing, but I tried really hard on it so I really hope its good.

Vlad looked around the room he had seen so many times before. Everything looked the way it always did, but Vlad couldn't help but feel that something wasn't right. He looked over everything. The desk that was cluttered with papers, to even the box of memories he kept under his bed. Nothing was out of place, which only meant one thing. What ever was bugging him was outside of the room. The one question was how would he face this thing?

Slowly Vlad walked to his door. There was nothing special about the door, but Vlad couldn't help but feel that if he opened it he would regret it. It was one of thoughts simple things that your mind does to convince you to just go back and sleep, but Vlad didn't follow his feeling. Instead he yanked the door opened, and quickly closed his eyes. If there was something out there Vlad didn't want to see what it was, but after a minute of nothing happening he slowly drew the courage to open them. instantly regretting his decision.

If front of Vlad stood the man that had cursed his memories for years. His same pale skin, and light purple eyes that seemed to glow. The torn up outfit covered in blood, and the gashes that still gushed out. Slowly staining the parts of clothes that weren't already covered in blood, and leaving trails of the crimson liquid running down his exposed skin. Worst of all is that he still had that same smile he always wore, even in death.

"Hello Vlad." The man said as he slowly moved closer to his friend, scarring Vlad even further as he watched his friend limped towards him. He wanted to run, but his legs stayed glued to the ground.

"How are you?" He continued now standing over Vlad. His blood hitting the burnet and trailing down his cheek, and Vlad let it. He couldn't move the memories he had tried so hard to keep away until now were returning.

"How's life?" He whispered as he breathed into Vlad's ear. Vlad draped to the floor. It was all his fault. He knew that he wouldn't make it so he forced his best friend in front of the killer, and ran. He didn't want to die so he had risked his friend. If any thing he should be the dead on not him.

"I'm sorry." Vlad choked out, unaware of the wet trails of tears that now fell down his face. Guilt had finally crept up on him.

"How can you be sorry if I'm dead?" The man cried. "You pushed me in front of you! You knew I would die if you did that, but you still pushed me into the killer, and ran!"

"I'm sorry!" Vlad cried even harder now.

"You only tried to save yourself! You didn't feel guilty about it at all! You didn't even think about my life!" The man now shreeked, and Vlad clutched his eyes closed. He just wanted to wake up from this nightmare.

"You meet me in hell Vlad, I swear it!" The man said, and Vlad's wish came true. Vlad jumped out of bed. Sweat dripping down his face, and tears still running.

"Its only a dream.. its only a dream..." Vlad repeated over and over to himself as he tried to calm down, but it didn't work.

Slowly Vlad thought about the dream, and thought. Life's a bitch, but so is death, and the smiled sadly as he thought about what he would do today.

"I'll see you soon Ivan..."
