Never Enough

Hikari is offended.

Not really, because it is Takeru and Takeru is an ass 80% of the time.

But she is still offended.

How dare he laughed at her.

"Sorry," he manages to gasp between laughters.

"You done?"

"No," he says, all smiles, "but I won't laugh anymore so go ahead."

She pouts, reminiscing the real reason she was having this conversation with Takeru, from all people. "There is nothing more to say."

He raises an eyebrow at her. "If I get it completely, you are upset because Taichi-san brought a girl back home."

"No!" she quickly interrupts. At Takeru's pokerface, his damn unfazed smile of his, she pouted even more. "I just don't understand why he needed to introduce her and all…"

"What? You would've prefer seeing them caught in act?"

Why was she talking about that with Takeru again? "I was an idiot to come to you."

"Come on, 'Kari," he says in an easygoing manner and really, she is cursing him. Curse him for always being able to be forgiven by her.

"You are not taking this seriously," she continues, pretending she is still mad at him.

"But we are talking about your brother complex which is, by the way, nothing new."

She goes back to pouting because she really cannot deal him. She lays on his bed and closes her eyes. "He's serious," she finishes by mumble. "He's really serious about her."

"You knew it was going to come sooner or later."

"I can deal with flings, but him being so serious…"

"Hikari…"

"And I know it's dumb, I want him to be happy but… I feel like I'm losing my brother a little."

She opens her eyes and he is looking at her with a tender smile. The real one. "At least it's only now. I had my brother stolen since our 5th grade, remember?"

She scoffs and hit him. "I hate you."

"No you don't."

"No I don't."

The End.

So I wanted to write about Hikari's brother complex and it turned more into a Takari fluff then anything? Posted it on tumblr and thought I should post here. I had no idea what I should put as a title so just took a One Direction song because Hikari is a Directioner in my mind.
