A/N: Sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything! This is just a short little one-shot. Tsunade has got to be my favorite character from Naruto. I mean she freaking SURVIVES being cut in half! I don't really think that Tsunade would look that old when her genjutsu is undone, so this is my take on why she even uses it.

Tsunade's Scars
"Tsunade, please release your genjutsu. You don't need it to be beautiful!"
"Absolutely not Jiraiya! That image is nowhere near pretty!"
"Fine..." Jiraiya proceeded to restrain her movements. "Release!" Tsunade screamed as Jiraiya released the genjutsu she used to make her look young and pretty. As the genjutsu seal was undone, scars appeared on Tsunade's delicate skin, completely covering her once-flawless skin.
"You think this is "beautiful?!"" Tsunade was hurt. He knew that she hated her body; it was littered with scars from her life as a kunoichi as well as being tortured because of her family relations.
"Whether you believe it or not, you are beautiful, Tsunade."
Tsunade just scoffed, "there is not a spot in my body that hasn't been mutilated, Jiraiya! How in the hell is 'this' beautiful?! Name one spot on my body you think is beautiful." She was on the verge of tears.
At this point, Jiraiya stepped closer to her, now within an arm's length away from her. He started pointing out parts and saying his thoughts."Your heart, your mind, your spirit, your eyes…should I keep going? I thought you would've realized by now. Your physical body isn't the only thing that makes you beautiful Tsunade.
Tsunade was stunned, that was the kindest thing anyone had said to her. She blushed and smiled a little as she looked up to Jiraiya. "Thank you... No one has ever said anything like that to me before..." Jiraiya, being his usual cocky self, had to get his two cents in, "that's because you've never met anyone else like me!" As Tsunade looked at him, cheeky grin and all, she made her choice. If this big oaf loves her for everything she is, who was she to let him get away? With this thought in mind, she grabbed on to his soft, white bangs and pulled his lips down to meet hers.
Eyes wide, Jiraiya just stood there in shock. Sh-she's kissing me! After processing what was happening, Jiraiya started kissing Tsunade back. Pulling away, Tsunade headed towards her office door. "Tsunade-wait! Where are you going?!"
"Relax Jiraiya, I was just giving us some privacy." With that, Tsunade smirked as she locked the door to her office and put up privacy seals. Then, she turned on her heel and headed back to Jiraiya. As she neared him she pulled on his bangs again; this time whispering in his ear.
"We're in for a long night..."
